One of my favorite things about growing giant pumpkins is the friendships I’ve made with other growers. This is my friend, Jim Ford. This spiffy pic of Jim probably has been photoshopped, because I doubt that he ever wears a tuxedo. Remember the beer commercials from few years back that featured “the world’s most interesting man?” I think of Jim as “the world’s most interested man” because he always is telling me about something new & different that he has recently been thinking about. Jim has opened up my thinking in many ways, thanks to the continual barrage of new ideas he throws my way. Intellectual curiosity. I think that is Jim Ford’s specialty!
