I think the tomato, bottom, might have healed. But the BER is dead tomato. You cant leave much of a layer of dead tomato or the live tomato will get infected by a secondary rot. So I redid the surgery. Probably lost a few ounces. I'm hoping I can get this one to 8 lbs. Better than losing the whole tomato.
Ps the secret sauce is just the calcium hydroxide/ sulfer mix I have been using for the pumpkins, plus a little boron. It may or may not work well. First time trying it... Might need to tweak the recipe or try something else.
