Cut stem of the tomato in the previous pic. Here a small infection of verticulum may have contributed. Barely noticeable, not enough to wilt the plant or cause obvious symptoms... but enough to constrict the xylem and cause the BER? A small infection with a disease like verticulum won't necessarily cause BER all by itself, but it could tip the scale in that direction.
One of the biggest blossoms got a bit of BER in the mini heatwave. A couple dark spots on the underside. Now the only question is, how deep is it and what were the contributing factors? I won't cut it off yet, but obviously this isnt great.
