Planted the 2183 Mendi in my new plot. I ran out of space in the front yard in my 33 ft wide lot so I am growing this “back up” on the city boulevard. You’re allowed to grow things there other than boring grass. My plan is to run the main vine across the patch and set a pumpkin just beyond the tree where there is shade. Even with the ornamental flowering plum tree there is a decent amount of sun on this patch as it faces south without other shade. It’s about 10 feet wide and 33 ft long. Wish me luck as this could be the first boulevard giant pumpkin!
