The pumpkin is just about ready to go in the ground this week. Yesterday's growth proved that it's nearing growth momentum within a day or two. I have a backup plant from the same Van Houtte seed with a Trombley and Andrusz as backups to the backup.
I just planted those two late last week so they haven't broken through yet. If I end up with an extra seedling I plan to give it to someone local in Michigan that will need it (and use it).
