Poor new growth would indicate a deficiency of an immobile nutrient.

Immobile nutrients:

Boron (B)
Calcium (Ca)
Copper (Cu)
Iron (Fe)
Manganese (Mn)
Zinc (Zn)

But I dont think its iron... The severe disfiguring points to something else. Have you considered doing a tissue test? There's not too much use in just guessing.

My research indicated possibly 'Cucurbit Leaf Crumple Virus'
(CuLCrV or similar, lol) and it is transmitted via whiteflies, and it is a new one on me; Yeah, there are so many examples of it and others that some kind of focused analysis is in order, per LK. eg
