When should I begin cutting lower branches? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

If doesn't have a nice mega and its making the plant too dense then I prune it away. I think you can leave some ofvthe lower growth. You dont have to turn them into beanstalks. In my opinion. But whatever works for you!

Pinch off all the suckers but one or two giving you two main vines or three but I would stick to two.

Depends on the aggressiveness of the plant, you may want to leave some of the lower suckers if you think it needs more photosynthesis receptors, but at the least you can remove anything that's touching the soil so as not to stress the plant with soil born diseases.

Great responses. At times I've left everything on the bottom until blooms to see if it increases chances of 1st truss mega but usually they're not present. Most of the time they're where you'd expect, on one of the main 2 branches.
