The pumpkin did no noticeable weight gain for the 1st week after the main had broke. But in this past week it grew 4 inches in circumference. I had measured it a few times and came up with the same measurement! Is it possible that it could make those kind of gains on a 20 leave secondary on a pumpkin of this size? Thanks for all your feedback and encouragement!

Circumference sometimes increasing as the pumpkin looses is internal structure and is rotting. Circumference is one of those measurements that changes because of tape placement

A pumpkin could gain 4" in a week. 1 lb per 10 leaves ought to be possible.
