Is 400lbs good for a dap 30? My patch is not the biggest around 350 sq feet. The weather was cold and cloudy the last week. But it's going to be better.
This is a video of the pumpkin.

What do you guys think? Can she be a 1000 pounder?

My buddy asked me a few years back as we stood in his 400 sq ft patch, how big of a pumpkin do you think I can get from this small area? I told him 1500 easy but possibly more. He looked at me like I was crazy and a quick learner and hard worker he pulled at 1700 plus out of that patch a couple years ago!
What a sight!!

Sure. My June 8 pollination passed 1k the other day at only 350 day 30. And I am still a relative beginner to a lot of aspects.

The leaves and vine look healthy, I think you'll have a good shot at 1000.

Becky.grows, That's a very nice looking pumpkin based on shape and color! It's growing about 45 lbs./day. Based on that, I'm thinking it has a good shot at going over 1500 lbs. Good luck!

Thanks for the update. That link you gave to youtube didn't work out for me. Is there a title to that youtube post that I could access it by?

Try this, sorry i'm new to this whole youtube thing. Just documenting her growth in case I lose the videos on my phone. And curious about the opinions/feedback of other growers.

If you visit my channel you will see the videos (if that url doesn't work again).

Thanks, I found it. With decent weather you should have a good shot at going over 1500 lbs. IMO. That would be quite impressive for a 350 square foot patch. What seed is it grown from? I hope you keep us updated on it.

Hope this link work.
She is gaining 20KG or 44LBS at night. Today she is 50 days after pollination. Stem, stump and vines look fine, no sapping, no splits, no rot... nothing....
Just fighting powdery mildew. I only used a preventive fungicide (spray sulfur). And the coming weather is not in my favor...
But I am happy this is my first try. And i'm in the thousand pounds club. :)

Just gets better and better, lol. And bigger...Go, man, go! I will always 'run to' this product for PM: https://landogiants.com/products/gc-cure?srsltid=AfmBOopoYlGbuy-vITpC_-oFL0MtrqFNJQiUlcVXMgaQrc9o811GUF63eg I used half a 2.5-gallon jug of it in 2020 into 55 gallons of H2O and the PM was GONE the next day; It did not come back with any vengeance for weeks butt it was merely trying later in the season. Either weigh, for it to be gone was a huge plus; Applied with a Whizzer sprinkler as well as a spray hose trigger nozzle; Fun! Makes the whole place smell like garlic and you'd think you had a Giant Garlic Pizza, too!---Good luck. eric g

Dang that pumpkin is still growing at a high rate! If all goes well, it should end up much closer to 2000 lbs. than 1000 lbs.
