I was hoping that the "extra" watering I was doing would get the pumpkin growing faster but that wasn't the case. I'm sure it has something to do with the rotten spot in the stem. That being said, If we can just keep chugging along and get a 1000lb+ pumpkin to Durham I will be the happiest guy in the world.
