Small plant, but decent tomato. This was the most crowded spot earlier when they got transplanted here there were a dozen plants here, then five plants, then three plants, then two plants. And there are still two plants here, the other one is going the other direction. Long story short, this early crowding caused this plant to be one of the smallest plants.

So being crowded early on isnt a great thing. I did find that having two plants in one spot was ok, but even that probably reduces the plant's final size by 10-15%. Two is company, three is a crowd, as they say.

I am letting this plant sprawl on the ground. This may not be the best way to do tomatoes, but when rain isn't a factor I guess it is one of the options.
