Here's a better pic of a big flower, I'm calling this a "sunflower" type mega. 5.16 Greene, plant 2. Its the fattest side shoot blossom I've ever gotten. Looks like a first truss blossom on a main vine... I thought this would abort but now it looks like its growing.
Dan S. has said these donut ones havent been great for him size-wise. I dont know... maybe it could work. I'd like to try but the plant already has 2 really good tomatoes though. Thankfully this is the only plant where I have a too-many-tomatoes dilemma. It might be easy for Dan to cull tomatoes that could end up in the the 8-10 lb range... maybe I need to toughen up, idk.
I could up my game further next year trying to get bigger side shoots, or I could just focus on first truss blossoms.
