How to handle the Main Vine before the Pumpkin. Steve Daletas did it, in 2018 I noticed him. When you know which pumpkin to choose, turn the main guide, and make a S. The main guide is important to raise it 6 Feet before about 15 inches, and the pumpkin is the same with sand or with poriespan. As the pumpkin grows, and up to 450 pounds, you can move the pumpkin forward, with the help of your hands... then, simply by releasing two or 3 roots, you will not have tension unless it is one of more than 2500 that surely has to release some more guide. If the guide is straight, it will possibly sink down, and it is a suffering. Better to do the S, and when you release the roots it will be very loose. I'll look for the photo of Steve Daletas 2018.
