I Absolutely need to share this with you guys. To prove the resilience of a seed in the first sprouting stage..... I planted these two seeds at the same time. A 186 glasgow and a 109 glasgow. I really really wanted to grow the 109. I got impatient and started scratching at the soil of the 109 to check for growth. Well...i snapped the seed off from its 3 inch tap root. I shamed myself for a while then stuck the broken seed (with no root at all ) back in the dirt for some reason. I checked it a couple days later just because i was mad at myself. And it sprouted 4 tap roots right from the break! ! Not only did it grow...it has the biggest leaves from what was grown in that batch. !!!! And plant size the same or bigger. its the plant on the right in the pic. It makes me think of crazy ideas like snapping the first tap root so you get multiple main tap roots.hmmmm...not any crazier then grafting right !!! Lol. So cool...
